International therapist card
The international therapist card issued by AHDE is valid for one year and can be renewed after that period.
You will receive a digital version of the card (in PNG or PDF format) to share on your social media platforms, along with a link on our website that verifies the courses you have previously completed.
With the digital card, you also have the option to print it at a preferred print shop, following the required standards and quality guidelines.
It’s important to note that AHDE does not provide courses, but we validate the courses you have already taken and include that information in your therapist level. Additionally, we internationally validate all the documentation provided to us.

- Personal information: name, photo;

The international professional registration will have a unique registration number. The total hours can be updated as there are changes in your practice and recorded experience hours.
Only one therapeutic specialization will be registered at a time in your professional registration. Experience proofs will be evaluated based on certificates issued by recognized institutions, and new evaluations of the primary therapeutic specialization may be requested based on experience updates.
To register and obtain your AHDE International Therapist Card, you need to provide evidence of your experience through certifications ranging from 20 hours to 5,000 hours or more, within the desired therapeutic specialization area.

Required Documentation:
- To register with AHDE and obtain an international therapist card, you need to:
- Be an individual;
- Be at least 18 years old;
- Provide evidence of your qualification as a therapist through certificates, techniques, and relevant experiences;
- Fill out the registration form on the AHDE website;
- Submit a headshot photo;
- Submit an official photo identification document;
- Pay the analysis fee.
Registrations will undergo an evaluation process after payment of the annual fee and submission of the documents on our platform.
Upon approval, the therapist will receive their Professional Therapist Card (Digital) and registration code through AHDE.
The maximum timeframe for approval or rejection of the registration proposal is up to 7 business days.
Annuity Exemption
You can be exempt from the annual fee in the following cases:
- Therapists above 65 years old;
- Therapists with exclusive involvement in social work and no income (proof required);
- Therapists practicing in countries experiencing humanitarian crises or states of war officially declared by the UN;
- Therapists who have referred a minimum of 10 new therapists who have registered and been approved in AHDE.

Attention:
When requesting the exemption from the annual fee, therapists who are exclusively engaged in social work without income will have this information printed on their card to prevent misuse.
